Equilon Enterprises LLC dba Shell Oil Products US (Shell), in preparation for soil remediation at Atkins Terrace properties, will accept delivery tomorrow, February 21, 2025, of a frac tank at 85 Willow Street. The next phase of work will remediate soil impacts at Atkins Terrace residential properties adjacent to 85 Willow Street (Block 24.03, Lot 35) in East Rutherford.
The next phase of soil remediation is expected to begin in about a month and will use the 85 Willow Street property to access the residential properties. Once the start date is confirmed, we will mail a notification letter.
Shell completed remediation of 85 Willow Street, which is owned by PSE&G, in 2024. Shell ceased its operations at 85 Willow Street in 1968 and is responsible for the remediation.
